Lilia's skin prickled wher Evan's lips touched it. She never wanted to be without him...never again. She shook her head gently, standing on her toes and touching his ear with her lips gently. "I'm not going anywhere," she whispered lightly. Yet suddenly something was starting to go wrong...and before she knew it, Evan was no longer holding her. He had stepped away. She was so cold...she wrapped her arms around her. The sudden absence of him formed a lump in her throat. "Evan, are you ... But her words caught in her throat.
She managed it...she ripped his heart out. She hated herself. "No, that was...w-we're not together. Quinn is just...he's just a really good friend." She took a hesitant step toward him, but could not go any closer. Her heart was throbbing. She regretted now what Quinn said she would definitely regret. Tears threatened to run down her cheeks...her blue eyes stared at him with regret and self pity. She couldn't bring herself to do anything...but whisper solemnly."Evan, I'm....I'm sorry..."

Her words were almost immobilizing, but there was still something caught up within her and it all seemed so wasteful, so many lies were now swimming in his head. The chillyness between them only resulted in her. He watched her wrap her arms around herself, and though he wanted to help her, to warm her, he did not. He stood there, taking more cold steps backwards and leaving her in her own ice chest. "Am I what?" He asked, stepping away once again. He turned his shoulder to her, the worst thing he could ever do to her now, yet he did it. "Jealous? As if." He snipped.
He sneered softly. "That's what they all say." Every step she took towards him, he took away. "I don't want to hear it anymore." He said through difficulty. He turned away from her, now not caring if he heard her or not. He no longer wished to listen. The desire of her lips to his still lingered in the air, but the ability to be mad, jealous, and loathing had taking it's fatter step towards him. He stormed from the room, for it was now time. The clock would strike soon enough, for it had to be done. Quinn would pay for this.

She stared at him, taken completely aback. What was going on...weren't they just embraced a mere moment before? It was easy to think she had imagined it all. His voice was so cold...as cold as always. It ripped her heary clearly in two. "No...I was going to ask if you were...if you were okay..." The way he turned from her ripped her apart. This was not what she expected, but somehow...deep down...she was not surprised.
He had his back to her, so it was easy to hide the fact that Lilia was crying. Warm, fat tears fell repeatedly from her electric blue eyes. She tried to keep her breathing even. She had nothing to say...it was true, she had hurt him. There was nothing left to say...she let him run out.
Lilia unwrapped her arms, she was shaking almost violently. Of course he didn't love her...this was probably just another cold joke...Well...he got her bad. He managed to shatter her heart into a million tiny, unfixable pieces. With a difficultly smothered sob, her knees hit the floor and she weeped until her eyes felt raw and she could stay conscious no more.
